2017-06-01   Saundersfoot

In Wales at last.

Monica has a great house and a pretty big back yard.  Very private.   I finally got to do some laundry.   Put it out on the line, but by the end of the day, it still wasn't quite dry, so I've draped everything over a clothes horse and hung things up in the bedroom.  Still have 13 days left on the holiday, so I washed enough to last me.   So nice to have clean clothes that don't smell like a suitcase!!

Don't know how hot it will be in Paris.   Looks like the temps there are jumping around as much as they are here.  Seems like the days I have to do a lot of walking are the days it's 28 degrees.

Monica suggested I send one of my suitcases home.   It's cheaper to send it by courier than it is to mail what's in it.   Also, I'm being charged on every flight for the second suitcase, so I might as well use that money to send it home instead.    My Heys hard-shell suitcase is cracked on one side and one of the feet fell off, so that looks like the one that'll be going home.   Where the foot fell off there are a couple of sharp screws sticking out.   I'll wrap it all up with duct tape.
